Make yourself at home.
The King’s Corner Garage started out with the dream of being able to provide space for the surrounding community to use for ministry purposes – whether that be a Bible study, a wellness class, a conference, a worship and praise night, hymn sing, prayer time, or other ministry opportunity. But in the process of planning these events, people started asking if they could use the building for graduation parties, baby showers, family Christmas parties, and other various get-togethers. Our top priority is to use the building for ministry, but we also see the need for hosting other events. If the building is available, we want to offer it to the community.

What is the space like?
The building consists of 3 rooms, a kitchen, and outdoor space.
Room 1 is a prayer room with a couch, chairs, and desk. Its purpose is to provide a quiet place for people to come and pray, either individually or with others. Our hope is that people will leave feeling refreshed.
Room 2, or the middle room, is connected to the Prayer Room, and it has space for 50 people to sit with tables and chairs. We provide round tables and black tablecloths. The tables and chairs are lightweight and can be moved to accommodate your needs. There is also a buffet area that can accommodate food or anything you may want to display. There is also a large-screen TV.
Room 3, or the back room, has a stage and can accommodate 75-80 people sitting in rows of chairs. If you do not want rows of chairs, the room can accommodate 5-6 round tables and 40-50 chairs. There is a sound system and a large-screen TV.
The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, and microwave. People using the building must provide their eating and serving utensils and dishes. We have a minimal supply of serving utensils. The kitchen is accessible from Room 2 and Room 3 (two doorways). The kitchen has countertop space for crockpots and chafing dishes.
The outdoor space is still being developed, but we hope to use it for community-wide hog roasts, outdoor concerts, get-togethers, and other events.
What do you provide?
We will provide you with a clean space to host your event, tables, chairs, tablecloths, and an equipped kitchen. The middle room will be set up with eight tables and 50 chairs. You may move these around, but it is expected that you will return the room the way you found it. The back room will be set up with 50-75 chairs in rows.
What is my responsibility?
When finished, you are expected to check the bathrooms to ensure they are clean and clean up—making sure tables, chairs, and floors are clean and returned the way you found them. In addition, food must be removed from the refrigerator. If you are the last to use the building, you are expected to shut off the water heater, turn off lights, and lock doors.
Additional Information: We realize accidents happen, but if you break something, we expect you to replace it. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and smoking is permitted in vehicles only.
